Location: Rasht - North of Iran

Project description:

• Construction of 125 km of gas transfer pipeline with a 30” diameter having a thickness of 0.688”.

• The pipeline has a pressure of 96 bar.

Scope of work:

• Construction of 30” gas transfer pipeline from Lakan to Sadat Mahaleh consisting of:

• 125 km of 30” pipeline in aquifer lands.

• Construction of 121 km of sub-grade for right of way for passing aquifer lands with natural aggregates of 1.4 million m³.

• 14 units branch-off stations

• 5 units cathodic protection stations

• 620 river crossing, road crossing, channel crossing, including Sepidrood main river crossing with a width of 1 km.

• Construction of 5 km of Concrete-Continuos-Coating.

• Installation of more than 7,000 Set-On-Weight.

• Installation of 2 launcher receiver at the beginning and the end of the line.

Duration of work : 24 months

Completion date : March, 1991
